Description: Lanthanum nitrate is a white powder crystal with hygroscopicity, melting point about 40 ℃, boiling point 126 ℃. Soluble in water and alcohol, heated above the melting point to form alkali salt. The preparation method is to put lanthanum oxide into 2mol / L nitric acid, heat the reaction until the solution is complete, then evaporate part of the solvent under reduced pressure, cool down, precipitate and crystallize, and filter to obtain lanthanum nitrate hexahydrate.
