Holmium Sulfate Ho2(SO4)3 nH2O CAS 15622-40-9 For Fluorescent Materials
products features
Name: Holmium sulfate, Holmium sulfate hydrate
Molecular formula: Ho2(SO4)3·nH2O
CAS: 15622-40-9
Molecular weight: 636.06
Description
Holmium sulfate is light yellow, the solubility of holmium salt decreases with the increase of temperature. Because of its unique absorption wavelength, the color of holmium salt is different under different light sources. It's yellow under daylight and LED lights and pink under fluorescent lights. When holmium hydroxide or holmium oxide is dissolved in sulfuric acid, holmium sulfate hydrate can be obtained.
