Description: Hydrobromide was dehydrated in HBr atmosphere. Introduce pure and dry HBr gas, heat hydrated bromide, and balance with NH4Br. The temperature rises slowly to 250 ℃, by which time most of the water has been removed. Then slowly heat it to 600 ℃, and NH4Br has been completely sublimated to give cerium bromide anhydrous.
